         J C Sum, also known as 'The Thinking Man's Magician', represents a new breed of world-class illusionists and is one of Asia's very few Mega Illusionists.

The Strait Times (Singapore’s national newspaper) calls him “Singapore’s Most Famous Magician” and MagicSeen (Europe’s largest magic magazine) refers to him as “The Ace in Asia”. The Business Times highlighted that J C "brought magic into the mainstream market in Asia".

Singapore's Celebrity Magician

On 18 Aug 2007, J C made history and headline news around the world by staging South East Asia's FIRST EVER Mega Illusion - "The Impossible Teleportation". 

In this mega illusion, J C successfully teleported himself from street level while surrounded by more than 9,000 spectators and reappeared on the roof of a skyscraper, 50 floors above, within a ring of witnesses. 

This landmark illusion marked the largest single live illusion ever staged in South East Asia .

"A Singapore magician has attempted what's believed to be the largest 'live' illusion staged in Southeast Asia - teleporting himself from the ground to the rooftop of a 50-storey building in just 5 seconds.

As an international performer, J C has staged over 2000 shows across Asia Pacific as well as in France and the U.S. His vast experience includes performances in hotels, cruises, clubs, resorts, theatre and for over 1000 corporate events.
